Let's Talk: Stranger Things Season 2

it's been a few days since the second season of the hit Netflix show "Stranger Things" was added to the site. I've said it a million times, and i'll say it again, i absolutely love Stranger Things season 1. but season two? not so much.

it just didn't seem to live up to the amazing first season which f*cking sucks cause I really wanted more of the original Stranger Things.

what do i not like about this new season you ask? well, let's start at the beginning.

1. the fact that we only really get good chemistry between the kids when eleven comes back. the thing that i believe made season one so successful was the fact that those kids were so f*cking cute together. we only really get the nostalgia and feeling between the kids like we got in the first season when eleven returns from seeing her sister. and even then, we barely get any scenes between them. wtf duffer bros???

2. how much filler was in this season. literally almost half of this entire season was boring filler that made me almost fall asleep as i was binge watching it in the middle of the night. the whole episode with eleven's sister? boring. the three minute scene between max's brother and mike's mom? wtf even was that!

3. the pollywog. i don't even have to explain myself here it was just f*cking weird.

okay, so there were some things that i did like about this season, but they weren't in the show enough to make me like any of the episodes.

1. HOPPER BEING AN ADORABLE POTATO FATHER TO ELEVEN. this was by far my favorite part of the show. they made there own little family in the cabin in the woods and IT WAS ADORABLE.

2. steve's character development. while i thought steve was a complete douchebag in the first season, i actually really enjoyed his role as the babysitter in this season. he was a good older brother figure to the kids, especially to max when she beat up HER STUPID STEPBROTHER THE F*CKER.

3. #nanathan. THE ARE PERFECT TOGETHER AND I WAS SO HAPPY WHEN THEY FINALLY PUT THERE FACES TOGETHER.

overall, it wasn't an awful season, but it wasn't what i expected or lived up to the first season. oh well, guess i'll have to wait to see if the third season is going to be good.
